‘Status Not Available:’ IRS says these taxpayers won’t receive second stimulus check automatically

If you’re one of the many many many people getting “Status Not Available” on the IRS website about your stimulus check — well, you probably won’t be getting your payment anytime soon!

 

Taxpayers receiving a “Status Not Available” message on the IRS’s Get My Payment tool will not get a stimulus check and will need to claim a tax credit.
