If you want your little one to get into a magnet program here in Caddo Parish, now is your chance!

Years ago, we decided it might be best to get our oldest daughter, River, magnet tested. Honestly, I wasn’t sold about it at first. After all, I never made the grades necessary to even consider entiring a magnet program, but the good news is, my daughter is much smarter than I am.

Following her magnet test, she was placed at Fairfield Magnet Elementary and I’m telling you right now, it was EASILY one of the best decisions we have ever made. Both of my daughters attend Fairfield Magnet now, and my oldest will be graduating 5th grade this school year, hopefully on her way to Caddo Middle Magnet next year.

The magnet experience has been so great for our family, and I can’t recommend at the very least applying.

Caddo Parish is now accepting magnet applications and will continue to do so through January of 2023, although with these types of things, it never hurts to get in line early.
