There is nothing better, to me anyway, than celebrating our youth in Shreveport-Bossier on their incredible accomplishments.

We never have a shortage when it comes to feel-good stories celebrating students in our area, and this week is no exception.

Today was a big day for two students in our area, and we’re pumped to give them some love!

The National Merit Scholarship Program has announced its 2023 Semifinalists. Attaining National Merit Scholar status is considered the highest academic distinction bestowed on a high school student. We have not one, but TWO students to brag about!

Bossier Schools is elated to announce Kylie Authement from Airline High and George Latimer from Benton High have been singled out.
