We know that the film industry has filmed alot of movies and productions in the Shreveport area over the years, and while there aren’t as many productions as there use to be – it’s fun to watch movies and TV shows filmed in our hometown.

As we get into the Christmas spirit, here’s one Christmas movie that you have to add to your streaming queue… “The Year Without A Santa Claus.”

This Christmas movie filmed in Shreveport stared John Goodman as Santa Claus and Delta Burke as Mrs. Claus, and came out in 2006. It was a remake of a 1974 TV special.

Filming took place at various places around Shreveport and at Stageworks in Shreveport. There was also scenes filmed in Natchitoches.
