When it comes to playing Texas Hold ‘Em poker in Shreveport, we have never seen a week like this.
When it comes to the best poker in town, without a doubt it’s found at Bally’s in downtown Shreveport. Earlier this summer, Bally’s brought a huge weekend poker tournamen to town and it was a huge success. Now, they are upping the ante and bringing easily the biggest week of poker to area, and I assure you, our city has never hosted a week of poker quite like this.
The festivities kicked off this week on Thursday with flights into a monstourous $100,000 guarantee tournament. They have flights for that tournament running today as well, and tomorrow, with that $100,000 tournament wrapping on Sunday.
Sunday brings a very popular tournament for poker enthusiast. Sunday evening, they will host the media/business bounty tournament, where players can win entries into the Main Event. That tournament begins at 6:00 PM. They will have a shorter $25,000 one-day tournament kicking off sunday as well, at 2:00 PM.
During the work week, they’ll have something for everyone, with tournaments being played every single day during the week.
The Main Event will kick off on Friday, December 16th, and will conclude the following Sunday.
