One Of The ArkLaTex’s Most Wanted Criminals Is Still On The Run!

In August of 1998, a woman calling herself “Deianna Ray” placed an ad in the personals sections, and that personals ad led her to a retired trucker named Charles Baker in Bossier City.

Charles was a widow, and he loved to gamble.  After he met “Deianna” she moved in a few days later, her name was actually Hazel Head.

On September 2, 1998, Charles’s sister June Steinger and her husband went to his house and found that the door was open.  They found Charles dead, he had been shot to the back of the head, and had been dead for 5 days.  $45,000 in cash and Deianna, I mean Hazel were missing, and so was Charles’ Lincoln Town Car.   A few days later the car was found near the Shreveport Airport.  The money and Hazel haven’t been seen since.

Hazel Head was born on December 10th, 1949 – and today she would be 72-years old.

The story was featured on Unsolved Mysteries a few years ago.  Police believe Hazel Head should be considered armed and dangerous.
