It just might be Shreveport’s best kept secret. After a lifetime of trying Shreveport burgers, I am ready to unveil the best burger in Shreveport, Louisiana. To be honest, it’s not even close.

Now, keep in mind, this is purely my opinion. Some of you may agree, while others just might disagree, all I ask is that you try this burger before disagreeing. I wouldn’t steer you wrong, especially when it comes to one of my first loves, the American cheese burger.

Now, in my 31 years, I’m confident in saying that I have tried every single burger Shreveport has to offer. Some of my favorites are found at Papa & Company, Rollin’ in the Dough, and Pepitos XO.

However, when it comes to burgers in Shreveport, there’s one that sticks out in my mind. The best burger found in our neck of the woods can be found at Gullo’s Fresh Produce & Bake Shop.

I first came across this burger years ago, years before they eventually added a large indoor-seating area for guests. Back then, Gullo’s had a small handful of picnic-type tables located under a carport next to the house. It added to the magic of this burger, but naturally, as the best kept secret slowly started to make it’s way around town, they needed new room and built a spacious indoor seating area.

This burger is one of the finest burgers ever assembled, and I’m confident that if you try it yourself, you’ll agree with me.
