Here’s What We Know About The Toll Bridge Coming to Shreveport

A new toll bridge is set to be constructed that will connect south Caddo and Bossier Parishes in the Shreveport area.

The toll bridge will go across the Red River south of 3132 and connect to Highway 271, and officials say the goal of the bridge project is to provide better access to the port of Caddo-Bossier.

The estimated cost for drivers to drive across the toll bridge is $2.00 each way and officials say no tax payer dollars will be used for the bridge as it will be privately funded, and the toll collected will be used to recoup those costs.
