A fisherman in Marion County, Texas made a startling discovery when he called authorities after seeing a black Jeep submerged in a lake.

It wasn’t until a tow truck arrived that they discovered a woman was still alive inside the vehicle. It remains unclear how long the Jeep had been in the water and how the woman ended up in the vehicle.

After a towing job turned into a rescue mission, the woman was taken to the hospital, and it was later discovered that she had been reported missing by the Longview Police Department just hours earlier.

The circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released, but authorities do not suspect foul play.
