The two R&B superstars teamed up with Ariana Grande in 2024 to remake their classic hit single, and now, 26-years later, they are nominated for another Grammy thanks to the success of “The Boy is Mine” (remix), which was featured on Ari’s chart-topping album, Eternal Sunshine. Brandy and Monica recently reflected on what it was like to work with Grande on the remake ahead of Sunday’s Grammy Awards ceremony. “It was nothing short of a blessing for Brandy and I not only to reconnect, but to reconnect and do something as special as this innovative version of ‘The Boy Is Mine,'” Monica told People.
